Jews Aren't Criminals

Why is there so much suffering in the world and what kind of God would allow it to happen?

There is going to be suffering in the world no matter what. As long as there are humans around there will be suffering. Human beings are cruel and imperfect. There will always be a child with an empty stomach, somebody who is slowly dying from a disease that they don’t have the resources to get the medical help they need. God can’t just interrupt people’s lives to help everyone. People need to learn to help themselves before they can expect God to just jump in and say, “I’ll save you!”

Is God punishing the Jews?

No it’s not a punishment. It’s a test of the Jew’s faith. The Holocaust was a horrific event but it was a good test of faith. It made the religious even stronger and in the end all they had was their faith. In a sick way it made some people stronger because their faith became so strong that they wouldn’t let their sick bodies, that were wasting away die. Their faith was the only thing that kept their hearts beating.

Does the punishment fit the crime?

The Jews didn’t commit any kind of a crime. They just lived life. They were being punished by the Nazis just for being themselves.

Is their suffering a test of faith?

Yes it made the religious stronger and the people who weren’t religious got weaker and lost their faith and will to live.

If God is so powerful, why does he not help his people?

Like we said before God cannot always step in and save everyone. People have to stay strong and fend for themselves. God will take care of you if you believe.

I mostly agree with your post. I guess in my own eyes I just felt that they were slowly losing faith because of what they wee going through. They seemed to be so mad at God. But other than that I agree with your post 100%! On our post we wrote pretty much the same thing as your last question. God can't step in and save everyone, some things have to be done by themselves. Good Job.

Great post group! It's flipping extreme man, radical!

Okay. I agree when you say God can't just jump in every time your in trouble or need the help. Your second answer is amazing. I believe that they did get stronger with their faith at the end of the Holocaust. I agree with your whole post and I liked it a lot!

I also agree when you say that God can't jump in every time your in trouble or need the help. It is a test of faith and when you need the help you can count on Him. But he isn't going to be the one fixing every little problem... Great post!

I like how you support your opinions on God. Good post.

I agree that god can't jump in every time you or someone else is in need or in trouble. If that happened then maybe we wont pass his test of faith, ya'know. Good job though, you guys supported your answers very well. keep up the good work.

In my opinion God can and will always help you. He will never leave your side. I only disagree with the first question but it is just my beliefs, you have your own and you supported it well. Other than that I like your other answers.

Mostly, it was a good post. You kind of contradict yourself with your answers from the third and second questions about whether they were punished or not. However, i really like how you said that as long as humans are around, that there will be suffering no matter what. Us humans are the cause of everything that happens. Good post!

I think that God can help you any time he wants and he will. You support your answers well but in my eyes i dissagree with the first answer. But otherwise good job.

I really got stuck on your picture. Its very powerful and really shows the deep pain and defeated feeling that the Jews must have felt while going through this whole thing.

I do not think that God interrupts people's lives when He goes to help other people. I think that He can help all just might not be in the way the people want it to be. This is just my belief. I liked all your answers and you supported them very well.

God can help you at anytime. Sometimes the answer is not what we want to hear. You should never question God, for he does everything for a purpose. God just doesn't answer your prayers sometimes, He answers them all. You must sustain faith even when He doesn't give you what you want. You must give God things before you can expect to recieve things from God.

You guys did an amazing job :) i just want to tell you my opinion on the second question about the Jews being punished, i believe that people are cruel and God gave everyone the freedom to do as they please and what they do in life will decide what he will do with them after life. Anyways you guys did really good :)

But other than that, Great Post!!

I believe that God does have the power to step in and help anyone at anytime, but he chooses not to because he wants to see how much you trust in him and what decisions you will make to help yourself. He wants to see if you will keep your faith no matter what and fully believe that he will take care of you. Kinda like you said ;). Its kind of like when you get sick, some people refuse to go to the doctor because they say God will heal me, I believe God could heal you but I also believe that God gave people the gift of being able to figure out ways to find medicines to help you, so you should help yourself first. They are there for a reason, he made them to your advantage so that you can help yourself. God is almighty and all powerful. He can do all things. I like your last sentence, "God will take care of you if you believe".

Good post. You could of gone into more detail with some of your answers. I don't agree with your first question. I think that God helps everyone. I believe He does what he can for everyone. Which might not always be enough help to save a life or cure a disease but, He does what he can. But other than that I think it was a good post.

I liked your post, your answers are short but to the pint and portray your feelings well. Good Job.

I really like the first answer it is totally how I feel. Mankind can not keep on going through with wars and killing innocent people overseas and expect God to do everything for them even while they are killing his people. I totally agree with the rest of it too.

I'm not sure if you guys are saying he cannot or he just does not jump in every time we want Him to. Somebody please clear this up for me. Thanks lol.

Good post. You contradicted yourselves in your 2nd and 3rd answer though. I totally agree when you said it made the religious stronger and the non-religious weaker. Great point.

We are saying that he does not. He chooses not to. Like we said.. he wants to see if we help ourselves before relying on him to fix every flaw in our lives.

Oops. Okay I see the contradiction now. I couldn't find it but I see it now. Our bad.

We should of elaborated on the second question we meant they were being punished by the Nazis in the second question.

I think this is a fairly good post and I mostly agree with what you're saying, except your answer to the first question. I think God can interrupt our lives if he wants to, he can do whatever he wants. He can help everyone, he just doesn't always do it in the way we expect him to. I think that the way that people need to help themselves is to turn to God and rely on him. He is our help in times of need. If we turn to him and trust in him, he is all we will ever need. If you let him be, he will be your savior, protector, and father. He loves us and is just waiting for us to love him back.

God is always there. He is capable of anything and everything good. Nothing is to great or to small for him to deal with.He is almighty and all powerful. I agree that people need to realize that you have to be willing to help yourself for God to help you. We have free will, God won't just force you to do something that you don't want to do. He is capable of all things, but he loves us to much to take away our free will. Good post though. Just some things to think about.
