Moishe, Moishe, Moishe

Moishe the Beadle was probably not believed by the Jewish community after he returned because he told stories of such inhumane acts of torture against him and the other Jews which were with him. In addition, Moishe was a homeless man who did not have much social standing with the Jewish people. Most of all, the Jews most likely just did not want to believe that the Germans were capable of performing such vile acts.

Not listening to Moishe was a horrendous mistake. This simple act could have helped saved their own lives. Palestine was still open to immigration and, therefore, the Jewish people still had the opportunity to escape. Even if they chose not to immigrate, they definitely could have been better prepared for the inevitable situation.

I agree with you. Who would believe a homeless man who is going insane? But then again if they would have believed him, they would of be prepared for the journey head of them.

I completely agree with you. Not listening to Moishe was a big mistake. I didn't know that Palestine was still open for immigration, that's kind of interesting. If they would of listened to him so many people's lives would of been spared.

I agree with you because why would somebody want to believe that people could torture other people like that. I really don't think that it was because he was homeless that they didn't want to believe him, because before they talked to him and had no problem with him. He has also chosen to be homeless because he is a smart man and could change that if he wanted to. I do agree with you when you say that it was a mistake that they didn't listen to him because they could have escaped and even if they wouldn't of made it they would have at least tried to stand up for themselves

Well the thing is about him being homeless thats not the only reason they didn't believe him. If that was the case then thats not cool to choose death over believing him. It wasn't because he was homeless, because Elie listened to him until he came back and told them about the Jews then he didn't believe him. The Jews didn't believe him because he was homeless, they didn't believe him because they didn't want to.

I agree with you, people could probably could of changed the outcome if only they would of listened to Moishe, but unfortunately no one did. So ya it was a horrible mistake, but how could anyone believe that. Would you believe that someone coming to your door and saying that someone were killing all of the people like you? So you can't really blame them for not believing him.

I agree. Why would they want to believe someone who is telling such sick stories? They didn't want to believe that something like that could ever happen. It was a big mistake to ignore Moishe because he was trying to warn the people and they wouldn't listen. Its true how you said even if they chose not to migrate they still could have been prepared for the worst.

I agree with you also. I know I wouldn't believe a homeless guy. I also wouldn’t believe that such bad things were happening to the Jews. I also agree with you when you said it was a mistake not to listen to him.

I agree with you. I would not believe a homeless guy i would think he was insane and didn't know what he was talking about. Just like the Jews did. If they would of believed him I think that many different things could of happened.
